I recently received some brooches from my boyfriends mother. I've always loved the idea of brooches, so now it's nice to actually have some antique ones. It completely amazes me knowing that her grandmother made them. Although, some of them may a bit gaudy for my taste, (like the ones in gold) but I'm sure I'll eventually find something to wear with them.brooch (brōch)
