Can't stop

Obsessively drawing these past few days I came up with a girl with a "Because I said so" statement pouring out of her mouth. I want to draw myself a tattoo, and I want to get it on my chest. I'm thinking the words Doll, and a girl with big beautiful eyes.

Recently, I just worked on an anatomically correct skull. First anatomically correct skull I've drawn in charcoal. I need to buy one for fun/sketching directional light sources. I wasn't able to finish the lower half of his jaw with the amount of time I was given.

Chocolate mint cupcake batch

I've had some free time to make some chocolate mint polymer clay cupcakes.



The finishing products will look like this:

Although, I still need to add liquid sculpey for that nice glazed look.

The other ones... Well, I just very may turn into earrings. As for the strawberries, I will assemble them onto hair clips as well:

And if not, they may be a topping for a delectable looking cupcake.

Fly Agaric - Poisonous

Since school had started up again, I feel as though I haven't had much time for arts and crafts, but since I didn't have school today...



Disregard the fingerprints that seem to encompass the tiny Fly Agaric's. I will be using them for future terrariums. I used polymer clay, but I believe they would probably look better if they were ceramic, and had a pretty red glaze with white freckles.

Inspired by THIS Cut Out + Keep toot. The wood plaques were $1.99 from Michael's, and were painted black by the bf who found an airbrush compressor with gun at a garage sale for only $12. So, I've been going crazy trying to make stencils that actually work, because I've never actually made stencils before.




Trial and error, figured it out... She will not be wearing a hair bow string in her hair o.o

Thinking about using white paint, and putting the stencil on some black canvas bags purchased at 60% off on the Halloween clearance rack at Michael's.

Random #003

I have made various things since I last posted, but I find that I am too lazy to post pictures of them here. Especially with such sites as Facebook, and Twitter. The only thing worth mentioning is that I have made a dress.

It was made out of fabric that was apparently made in Africa. Neat, right? I need to purchase some simple black material so I can make something along the same lines as the first dress, but with bows, and black lace. Oh! I would also LOVE to get my hands on some clichéd Halloween material.


DIY:

I Scream for Ice Cream

I've been experimenting more and more with polymer clay, and I have finally gotten around to making a chocolate ice cream bar with chocolate-vanilla swirl inside, yum.

Since I've been working on some hair clip designs, I thought this was a cute idea. That, and I never thought I would actually use this chocolate brown ribbon for anything... I guess I thought wrong.




'TO DO' List:
- Make molds.

I am thinking of making lollipops in various colors for my recent d.i.y. hair clip obsession.

Mary Daisy Dinkle

I recently watched Mary & Max.



A beautifully done stop-motion animated feature film by the same creators of HARVIE KRUMPET. The characters in the film were so very... Interesting. From Grandpoppy Ralph to Mary Daisy Dinkle herself. Wonderful depiction of life. I highly recommend it. Definitely worth watching.
